Do You Qualify to be in the Nursing World? by Maria Tracy Pedrera-Cardeno

Taking nursing as a course in college is not an easy choice. The course itself requires a lot of effort and perseverance so that at the end you become successful, fruitful and effective in the chosen career. After graduation the question now is are you ready to face the challenge as a nurse? Do you qualify to be in the Nursing World?

The basic qualification to be a certified nurse is passing the board examination. After that you are bound with the code of ethics of nurses which you have to follow and it is humanitarian in nature. Planning to work abroad requires you to pass another set of examination, with this you are up to the next level in your career. This is your first step to be in the Nursing World.

Knowing the fact, nurses in their own field are more concern about the life and health of their patient for at hand they are one of the primary person aside from the doctor who is 24/7 attending the development and recovery of the patient in other words they are pro-life for what they deals is life itself, so patience and awareness is one of the quality that a nurse should posses. Mental Attentiveness, Physical Fitness and Nursing Knowledge are also important. In practice, nurses should be a person who is generative, protective and well nurtured for they are practicing the preventive care.

Nurses in the nursing world also signifies a person who is skilled and has a compassionate heart to be a caregivers willing to extend his/her time, effort and helping hand to some strangers who need their service most.

Aside from this, working as a nurse in a new surrounding several challenges awaits you for you have to know in details the laws of the state regarding workers, health assistant or providers and be familiar with the culture and norms of the society you are in so that you have an idea of what you are going to do in your nursing job, how you are going to deal with the people around you particularly the patients and work effectively and ethically right in respect to their state law.

If you are willing to belong in the Nursing World, those are some few challenges that you have to face. Now, are you dare to challenge yourself for this?

My only advice is that works with your heart then everything will be a success.
