Due to economic crises that the world faces finding a job to earn a living seems too difficult. But if you have that perseverance in what you do it is not impossible. If you are one of the certified and registered nurse out there and willing to get a nursing job try this.

· Personalized yourself to the interview, prepare a resume that shows yourself just like a package deal. Personal Attributes, work history and a summary of your educational background, awards achieved and trainings attained.

· Taking about your resume see to it that you double check the entry. Make sure that there are no typographical errors or misspelled words because its presence in your resume can have a great effect on your application.

· Don’t be too desperate when applying a job. When sending your resume sent it in a format requested. Don’t ask for a fax number when you are supposed to send it via email. Read and understand the job advertisement.

· Make a cover letter. It should have the requirements outlined for a particular position that you apply.

· For the interview, research in advance about the hiring hospital and facility. Know its mission statement, goals, objectives and vision. With this it can help you during your interview for you can share knowledge to the interviewers and it also help you familiarize yourself about the facility so that if you’re lucky and get hired you have already an idea about it.

· Before the interview, a day or two days in advance try to find the location. Be acquainted with the location and the route so that on that big day during the day of the interview you arrive on time. This help you ease that tension and stress on the day of the interview.

· During the day of the interview be there 15 minutes before the schedule don’t be late.

· Dress up yourself in the most presentable way. Fix yourself before you arrive the building.

· Make a portfolio where everything that you need is compiled thus includes a clean copy of your resume and cover letter, letters of recommendation, and training documents. Hand it to the interviewer right after your interview and don’t forget to say thank you. This well leaves a good impression about you.
